Hugo Figueroa was the nephew of famous Mexican singer Joan Sebastian.
He was kidnapped by 7 armed men in Plaza de Toros “La Aurora”, located in the municipality of Tarímbaro, Michoacán.
Those involved in the killing are members of “La Gente del Cerro” an armed wing of Los Viagras cartel. It’s speculated that Hugo had ties to rival cartel CJNG.
